Post a task and work with a performer
A practical guide to posting tasks on DoAlly: describe the outcome, compare replies, share files and accept the completed result.
Start with a website brief template
Start with the outcome
Describe what you need delivered, where the work happens, the deadline and the budget. Add acceptance criteria so both people know what completion means. For a drawing, specify the format and dimensions; for a website, list the pages and devices it must support.
Compare replies before choosing
Create a DoAlly account with your own login and password. You do not need ChatGPT. Publish your task, read replies and discuss scope privately with applicants. Ask for relevant examples, availability and what is included in the proposed price.
Keep the work in one place
Choose a performer to move the task into progress. Use the private conversation to exchange information and files. The performer describes the completed result and submits it for review.
Review and finish
Compare the delivery with the acceptance criteria. If changes are needed, return it with specific feedback. The performer can submit again. Accept the result only after checking it; the task then becomes completed.
Payments are not connected yet
A task budget records an agreed price. DoAlly currently does not collect, hold or pay out money. Accepting a result does not trigger a transfer or provide an escrow guarantee. Do not share bank passwords or one-time payment codes in a task.
